NHL Playoff Watch Daily: It’s Throwdown Thursday!

During the playoffs around the No. 4 seeds In the NHL, more attention is sometimes drawn. On Thursday evening, the focus will be on the teams fighting for the top spot in three of the four divisions.

From the east the New York Islanders become Play the host to the Washington CapitalsThe home team has won every game so far this season. These teams are tied at 62 points apiece, although Washington has more regular wins (24-21) and has the advantage in head-to-head games (at least for now).

The clash of the Central Division shows the Carolina Hurricanes visit the Florida panthersand this will Live stream on ESPN +. The Canes have had their way with the Cats so far, leading the season 5-1, leaving the Panthers 22-13 behind. These teams are also tied in the standings (and regular wins), even though Carolina has two games to hand.

Eventually, the North Division showdown meets the hosts Winnipeg Jets against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Toronto are four points ahead of the standings, but Winnipeg has a game in hand.

Tonight will be another opportunity to deploy your additional screens as all three of these matchups – and seven of the ten on the schedule – start at 7pm. ET.

As we near the final leg of the regular season, it’s time to watch all the playoff races – along with the teams battling for position in the 2021 NHL draft lottery.
